Are We There Yet?

After quitting his secure full time job at Allans Music + Billy Hyde Managing the largest music instrument store in the country, up and coming country music artist Adam Toms convinced his wife to sell the family home and take a 9 month trip around Australia.

Along the journey Adam will play gigs at venues in every state as well as gaining a new respect for our beautiful land. Oh, and did we mention they’ll be travelling with their two boys? A 2.5 year old and a new born!!!! So naturally this journey will encounter many challenges, ups and downs.

To add to the growing list of challenges Adam will be filming the adventure as a reality TV concept as well as telling stories of landmarks, cultural and music events, interviews with celebrities and common folk too!

On board to help create the program is Geoff Moxham who has worked in popular TV shows such as ‘Find My Family’ and ‘Top Gear Australia’. Geoff says there is nothing better than a ‘real’ story that touches the heart strings of the nation. Everybody has a desire deep down to travel Australia but who would be crazy enough to do it with a new born and a 2.5 year old? I see Adam as a modern day ‘Slim Dusty’.
So with the car and caravan in tow, Adam Toms and family hit the road in June for their big adventure.

The series will be ‘Executive Produced’ by Geoff Moxham, who will oversee the final cut. The target stations for airing will be CMC (Country Music Channel - Foxtel) Auroa (Foxtel) Lifestyle Channel (Foxtel) ABC and some of the free to air digital stations around the country. There may also be regular postings on youtube.

Adam Toms is currently looking for more sponsors to contribute to editing costs. Return on investment will be by way of brand placement and filmed acknowledgements. There will also be many specific product placement opportunities in every episode.
